About Us

My name is Marcos Moran and I'm the founder of Gator Bait Wakeboard School LLC.  I have a lifetime of experience on the water and I'm a Certified Tournament Boat Driver through USA Wakeboard, The WWA, and The IWWF.  I also have my USCG Captain's License and I'm trained in Lifeguarding and CPR.  I grew up riding in Biscayne Bay in Miami but have also spent time in almost every body of water in South Florida.  I started skiing and kneeboarding when I was very young and picked up a wakeboard in 1994.  I've been coaching watersports since 1997.  I have been involved in many summer camps with children of all ages.  I worked as an instructor at Miami Wakeboard Camp for over 5 years and then went on to manage the business for over a year.  I also started the watersports program at Splash Academy and managed it for over 3 years.  And now I have my own boat on Key Biscayne.  I've also been giving private lessons all over the world since 2001 and have had great success with my students.  I am prompt, knowledgeable, and most of all, patient!

Craig Rohrer has been an instructor at Gator Bait since the beginning.  He started wakeboarding back when he was in middle school and has never stopped.  He started giving private lessons when he was in high school in Sarasota, Florida.  And he started the Wakeboard Club at the University of Miami which allowed him to compete all over the US.  Craig also has his USCG Captain's License and he is trained in Lifeguarding and CPR.
