My name is Marcos Moran and I'm the founder of Gator Bait. I have a lifetime of experience on the water and I'm a certified tournament boat driver through USA Wakeboard, The WWA, and The IWWF. I also have my USCG Captain's License and I'm trained in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR. I started wakeboarding in 1994 and I've been coaching watersports since 1997. I started Gator Bait in 2006 and I've had great success with my students!

Nick Fernandez has been one of my students since 2009 and he started working with me in 2019. He's proven to be an amazing asset to Gator Bait's success! He is an awesome rider (2020 Collegiate Wakeboard Champion), super friendly, and so fun to be around. Nick is also a certified tournament boat driver through USA Wakeboard, The WWA, and The IWWF. He also has his USCG Captain's License and is trained in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR.
Drew de Armas started working with us in 2023 and he is a true waterman. He can wakeboard, wakesurf, wakeskate, slalom ski, trickski, barefoot... whatever! Always happy and always smiling! Drew has his USCG Captain's License and is trained in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR.
Carson Booth also started with us in 2023 and is super excited to be working with us. He grew up wakeboarding and wakesurfing in Orlando and decided to move down to Miami to work for Gator Bait. He has his USCG Captain's License and is trained in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR.
Curtis Shaffer just started working with us and loves his job. He also grew up wakeboarding and wakesurfing in Orlando and decided to move down to Miami to expand his social media management business and work for Gator Bait in his free time. He also has his USCG Captain's License and is trained in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR.
Michael Morrissey just got his USCG Captain's License and his training in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR. He stated working with us on the weekends until he finishes college and he's been a huge help. He also grew up wakeboarding and waterskiing and has been driving wakeboard boats his whole life.
